Most real estate agents learn the business from the outside in. Brandon Black learned it from the ground up. Before ever becoming a licensed agent, Brandon was already deeply immersed in real estate — buying distressed properties, renovating them, and turning them into income-producing assets starting at just 21 years old.
Over the past 20 years, Brandon has built and remodeled more than 1,000 residential units and led multiple large-scale developments through his construction company based in West Virginia. This foundation gives him a perspective that most agents simply don't have — he doesn't just sell homes, he understands them at their core.
Brandon's career has been anything but ordinary. From serving as a police officer to working as a private investigator, owning a security firm, and operating a chain of laundromats, he has developed a unique combination of discipline, negotiation skills, and real-world problem-solving ability that directly benefits his clients today.
In 2022, Brandon launched a home inspection company in Virginia. It was during this time that he recognized a major gap in the industry — many agents simply lacked the experience to recognize red flags that could cost their clients thousands. Rather than accept that standard, he decided to raise it.
